Some of the best customer service I've ever received. Hands down. The waitress was fast clear and helpful. The food was awsome happy hour has dollar tacos that are decent sized and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Chicken fajitas were out of this world delicious. Ben our waiter and everyone was very nice and on top of their game for a Sunday night after thanksgiving dinner. I will recommend this place and I look forward to coming back soon.

Delicious food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. Good for both a quick lunch date and a drink or bring your whole family for dinner. They offer a wide variety of menu options to choose from. The salsa is on point.

Let me start off by saying the California Chicken is off the chart from my point of view never had a problem with that it's always consistent..... The last couple times I've been going it's been semi busy never had any problems with the waiters or bartenders overall it's a great place I think. I like how the pepper jack cheese on the California Chicken just runs everywhere 🤤

Wow! Just found out about this restaurant in the covid time. Take out is super convenient. Taste is super great! I never drive on 6th street before so location is a bit off for me but should not be a problem because I will go again next time.

The food was good, but I can't stop thinking about how stunned I was when the owner came over to our table and accused us of 2 Margaritas that "Somebody was going to have to pay for ". They had been bought at the bar earlier.He obviously needs more management training on how to handle these situations in the future.

Not only is the food fantastic.. The employees are terrific too! If you haven't been lately, go for lunch or dinner.

This is the 2nd time we've eaten here. First time was a late night dinner, after 9 pm. We ate in the lounge. They had 1/2 off appetizers. We didn't know that until we got the check. This time we ate in the dining room. The food is really good. Our service was fast and accurate. Meals are moderately priced. Great place to come to for good Mexican food.

Amazing Experience... The staff was friendly, the ambiance was cozy, but what put this whole experience over the top for me was their fish tacos... an Absolute MUST HAVE!!! Seriously the BEST fish tacos I've ever had!!!!!!! I'll definitely be back for more!!!

We have always loved Marla's! They were always great when we would go in with a big group on Sundays, and now we have ordered several times to go, and everything is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Some of our favorites are the California Chicken, the steak tip appetizer, enchiladas, and the veggie burrito.

The BEST cucumber-jalapeño margaritas! We love the fish tacos! The new owners are awesome! Diego made my daughter feel extra special for her birthday dinner! Everyone in the restaurant could hear them sing to her!

We had my sisters wedding rehearsal here. Kristen and the waitress with the unicorn hair was amazing!! They did a great job AND the food is amazing...shredded beef anything is the bomb!!!

Excellent food and service. Haven't been in so long, only visited once since the original owner (Marla) left and I was not a fan. Decided to go again just to give it another try. This most recent visit highly exceeded my expectations and we will be going back more. Of our table of 4, everyone liked their food, not one complaint. The waiter was genuinely nice and very attentive. It was a few weeks ago and I can't remember his name, but he made sure we were happy and our meal was enjoyable.

This restaurant staff is not careful about COVID. The staff do not wear masks and the bar is crowded. As much as I loved this place before, I will probably never return because of this.

Good food. Fries were better than average. Spicy hot burger with jalapenos & bacon was delicious.

This was my first time here but my best friend comes regularly. I was very happily surprised I must say. I was not in the mood for Mexican food and she had said they served Mexican American but still I wasn't sure. I decided on the Grilled chicken salad with no tomato or onions and ranch on the side. First of all our server was very friendly and attentive, secondly my order came out just as I ordered it and thirdly the flavor was spot on. The chicken was moist and grilled perfectly, the lettuce was cut in bite size pieces, all the ingredients were obviously very fresh and in just the right amounts! I would absolutely eat there again. The restaurant and bathroom are clean, has a nice vibe and is also easy to get to also. If you haven't tried it give them one 😊

Staff are NOT wearing masks and owner says he can't "force them" to wear them. Avoid this plague center!

I don't get here often enough, but when I do I always feel welcomed and well taken care of. You can tell that the owners Diego and Bianca have helped instill a true customer service that sometimes is hard to find. And the food is great! As Mikey says, try it! You'll like it!

Pulled off the ten looking for a taqueria and saw this place had good reviews. The building is huge but on the inside it's cozy, with curved walls and nooks that break up the space well, so you don't realize how big it was. We arrived too late to sit in the dining room full of sumptuous banquette, but the lounge was cozy. Everybody there was super friendly and the server, Ashley, was very accommodating when I wanted to mix and match. She steered us right with the juicy ribeye and the prime rib, with fresh and prepared horseradishes, and the chicken pozole was excellent, too, spicy without being too hot. The enchilada was like something my grandmother would make, but she's Irish. I'll definitely be back, I've added Marla's to my restaurant list on this LA / JT route

I gave this place a second chance. I didn't care for the food either time I went. It is Americanized Mexican food but still not great. No choices of beer if you are a beer drinker. Lastly, I was lucky to bring two credit cards because the do not take American Express. Bartender was decent..

Me and my boys first time eating here. Food was delicious. I had the shredded beef tacos and my boys had the carne asada burrito and fish and chips. We enjoyed our dinner tonight and we will definitely be back to try out something different on the menu.

My family and I went to Marla's last Sunday evening. This was the first visit for my husband and me. The rest of our family had been before and really liked it. The food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and service was outstanding. My future DIL even inquired if a certain dish was hot. Our waiter immediately said that he would bring her a sample so she could see for herself what she thought! Great customer service! The managers came out and visited with us awhile. Very friendly and down to earth people! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Marlas hosted our X/mas party tonight. They were extremely helpful great service and delicious food. Everything went perfect.

The carnitas plate is good so is there carnitas burrito, however there salsa is bland its not a wow factor, nor is it memorable. They have good customer service and I got my food fairly quick. I gave them 3 stars because to me at a Mexican restaurant why is steak n lobster a better plate at a "mexican restaurant " then most of there Mexican food or salsa. Salsa is easy to make, it tasted to me more like pico de gallo. I might go back but not anytime soon.

Marla's for the most part has very good food. Their fish and shrimp tacos are the best as is their cheese enchiladas. On the con side, their service is hardly ever good (slow) and their music is horrible! Doesn't fit the Mexican vibe, more of a Bohemian whale mating music vibe. We went there for $10.00 steak night (great deal) but we waited about an hour for our food! Everytime we go there it takes forever, yet they are adding on! Not sure how that's gonna work out.🤨

Love this place! The bar is probably the spot I go to every time. The bartenders are friendly and always attentive! The owners are very cool and walking around to chat with guest and make sure everything is going well. It’s my go to spot for a drink and some great Mexican food!

We ordered dinner to go and everything was perfect. The lady who took our order was patient and super friendly. The order was exactly as we ordered it (we had a few special requests) and ready when they said it would be. The food was delicious. We will be returning again.

Food for me was okay. Not traditional mexican,it was more like Americanized Mexican food. When it comes to the service, the crew were very nice and polite.
